I'll give it a go, thanks! I finally managed to snag one with one of the smaller spoons. You'll probably still get plenty of spotted Bass strikes though. Experiment with the timing until you get a consistent 3 dot twitching retrieve).
(A easy twitch retrieve can be done by making a cast, holding the RMB down and then pressing the LMB for around 1 - 2 seconds, stop and then pressing the LMB again for 1- 2 seconds, repeat. Failing that a simple straight retrieve at speed 2 and dropping to 1 when a bow wave appears behind the lure will often work. Try keeping the spoons near the surface with a speed 1 or 2 using a twitch retrieve.
